Tips to subdue baby fever?

My husband and I are both young. We are both in college, he is graduating in December with his second BA and then going to start on his Masters and I am working on my B.S.E. Several people from my high school class are already having babies, even while going to school. I envy them because as a woman I do want to have kids and be a mom. I am ready to start a family with my husband but he is not ready yet. I understand that and we are not very financially stable so I am not sure we could even support someone else. Any tips on to subdue the baby fever?
