How to remove a quarantined file on Microsoft security essentials?

I recently got many viruses and trojans on my computer. The major proplem with this was that when I wanted to open programs (that I didn't have to do this with before), it opened up a list of programs to open the program with, and I couldn't open the program with any of the programs listed. Anyways with a lot of full scanning on microsoft security essentials, I finnaly found the source. I had a Vir Tool:Win32/Obfuscator.PV. It was a virus used to create viruses. It was attached to my file:c:/documents and settings/administrator/bunch of random numbers file. Microsoft security essentials quarantined it, but I still couldn't open the program. So I was wondering how I could just remove the virus alltogether, and if doing that would let me open the program?
